Abstract:
The importance of English proficiency in the context of economic growth of Ukraine is studied in the article. The authors focus attention on those business fields where English proficiency is a core competence and at the same time a key factor of their advancement and economic development of the nation as a whole. The ways of improving low English proficiency among adult population of Ukraine are proposed.
