Teaching English to Future Fitness Trainers: Challenges and Effective Strategies

Abstract

This paper is devoted to the issue of teaching English to future fitness trainers. The paper identifies the key challenges in teaching English for Specific Purposes (ESP) to sports students and proposes the ways to address them. The specific linguistic needs of fitness trainers are analyzed to guide syllabus design, as well as the selection of relevant content, skills, and contexts that reflect real-life communication scenarios of fitness trainers. The most effective approaches and methods of teaching ESP to future fitness trainers are determined.
