dc.description.abstractalt2	The paper investigates the nature of social destructiveness. The existing philosophical, psychological approaches to the study of the causes of aggression and violence. The modern person, as a rule, is deprived of the choice of the line of conduct, as the defining factor of intention in favour of human cruelty or positive self-realization are the social conditions, social environment. The text reveals the mechanisms of the development or suppression of its own destruction. Particular attention to the social and cultural impact on the formation factors destructiveness. The article focuses on the fact that very negative processes increasingly influence modern man. The article gives the definition of «violence in the family»; the types of violence in the family (between spouses; parents and children; between adult children and parents; between children in one family; violence between other members of the family); characteristics of types of violence in the family (physical, psychological, economic, sexual); the factors contributing to violence in the family have been addressed in detail. The provisions of Ukrainian legislation and international human rights standards in the sphere of protection from violation are analyzed. The conclusion about the necessity of taking into account the multidimensional explanation of this phenomenon in the planning and implementation of violence prevention in general and violence in the family in рarticular. It can therefore be concluded that this issue must be dealt with, starting from upbringing in a family and finishing with violence prevention on a state legislative level.	en_US
