dc.description.abstract	У статті висвітлюються питання розвитку національної видавничо- поліграфічної галузі. Охарактеризовано зміни, які стосуються обсягів виробництва поліграфічної продукції. Досліджено основні фактори, що стримують поліграфічне виробництво. Наведено показники завантаженості виробничих потужностей підприємств за видом економічної діяльності «Поліграфічна діяльність, тиражування записаної інформації». Побудовано профіль видавничо-поліграфічної галузі Чернігівської області, який доводить, що галузь загалом має середню привабливість, але при формуванні ефективного ресурсного забезпечення (за умов державної підтримки) спроможна до подальшого нарощування стратегічного потенціалу.	en_US

dc.description.abstractalt1	The transformational changes that are taking place in Ukraine are encouraging national industrial enterprises to seek alternative ways of solving problem issues regarding their strategic development. Publishing and printing companies of our state are no exception. The formation of an effective strategy for the development of the publishing and printing industry (PPI) is a prerequisite for taking into account the most important influence of factors on the industry's activities. The article is devoted to the analysis of the current state of the publishing and printing industry in Ukraine and assessment of its attractiveness in Chernihiv region according to certain criteria-indicators. The changes concerning the volumes of production of printing products are described, the indexes of load capacity of enterprises' capacities are mentioned, the main factors inhibiting printing production are investigated in the article. Based on the analysis, it was found out that the most influential factor that inhibits production is "insufficient demand" and "financial constraints". The factors of "labor shortage" and "resource and materials" increase their value. At the same time, the assessment of the competitive position of enterprises in foreign markets within the European Union shows a lack of positive shifts in export activity. It is recognized that objects of monitoring should also be: a) execution of state- commissioned programs; b) the efficiency of associations, organizations and enterprises engaged in publishing and printing activities; c) PPI staff; d) publishing and printing activities of enterprises and organizations of PPI; e) resource support for PPI of the state and individual regions, etc. The profile of the publishing and printing industry in Chernihiv region has been constructed, which proves that the industry is generally of average attractiveness, but when formulating effective resource support, which should be done under the conditions of state support, it is able to further increase its strategic potential.	en_US
