Abstract:
To reduce the load on the UAV operator during long-term search and rescue missions, an on-board automatic system
that generates control signals for positioning an additional video camera with a narrow field of view is considered. The requirements
for the system of automatic detection of the area of interest are defined. Various methods for detecting objects in
images are considered, analyzed and compared. Software and hardware tools are discussed, which are advisable to use in the
preparation and conduct of experimental studies.
